Counting Stars Adobe has a beautiful rooftop deck with a gas fire pit overlooking the city of Colorado Springs, Red Rocks Canyon Open Space, and the stunning Garden of the Gods. The home has a large master suite with a new plush king-size bed and walk-in closet on the main level with an en suite bathroom. There are 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. One bedroom has a new queen mattress, dresser, and closet. The third bedroom has a daybed with a trundle bed for two twin beds. The third bedroom also has a dresser and a large closet. The second full bathroom is in the lower level.
After a pleasant day of exploring the area, you can come home to our lovely home and relax in front of the TV and electric fireplace. The living area with couch and loveseat has a new smart TV and high-speed wireless internet and DVR cable service. So you won’t have to miss any of your favorite shows while on vacation. The main floor living room also has a cozy reading nook area. The adobe has a well-equipped kitchen and laundry area all conveniently located on the main floor. The eating area is just off the kitchen. The home is tastefully furnished with all new furniture, high-quality linens in southwest style. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new supplies. In addition, the pantry has basic supplies provided.
Paradise awaits just outside the front door for bikers, hikers, nature lovers, and photographers. Counting Stars Adobe is just one mile from Bear Creek Nature Park Center. Just across the street is the Red Rocks Canyon Open Space with abundant trails to explore. It is a dream location for your biking or hiking vacation. The home also has a 2 car garage so you can safely store your valuable outdoor “toys” while enjoying a night out in the unique flavor of Old Colorado City a short 1/2 mile from your vacation headquarters. In addition, Manitou Springs is a short 10-minute drive where you can explore the wonderful shops and dining establishments of this unique mountain town.

Beautiful scenic drives are just minutes away if you care to explore the Broadmoor area, wonderful Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, and of course Americas mountain Pikes Peak. Counting Stars Adobe is the perfect location for a Colorado getaway. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked. The host, Debbie, made sure we arrived safely and left us a treat in the kitchen to welcome us. The location is close to Pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods and great hiking trails. But the best part of the stay is the rooftop deck with fire pit, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the mountains or the lights of Colorado Springs. I highly recommend this location and we will definitely return!
We stayed mid-August as the last leg of our vacation. We wanted to hang out, relax and get a flavor of the Colorado Springs area after a week at RMNP. Just what we needed for us and our two teenage boys. The setting close to Red Rocks open space and the roof deck were perfect for what we wanted. Debbie was great and her place is very comfortable, well appointed and relaxing. Definitely would stay again.
We arrived weary after an early morning and afternoon touring the west side of RMNP, then walked in and felt completely welcomed with a note and yummy sweet treat from the owner. We were then wowed by the lovely place we had rented! It’s beautiful to begin with – the decor, rockers on the front porch, roof top deck, cozy blankets, etc. All of the thoughtful extra touches were amazing!
We were so excited for our stay here. It is close to all of the major attractions while being nestled and quite secluded amongst the hills above Colorado Springs with views of Garden off the Gods and the surrounding area.
We appreciated all of the great communication both prior to and during our stay.
